I was born and raised in southeastern Oklahoma, attended school in the Durant school district, and graduated from Durant High School. Recently, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

My family roots trace back four generations in the Texoma area. Growing up locally, I have a strong history and appreciation for this area and for the people who live in it. I have a passion for helping others, and I have always strived to learn new things and challenge myself.
